Placement Training Activities at MIM

Besides the regular activities at college, the placement team organizes different types of fruitful and beneficial activities as a part of making the student ready for the placements. The students are given different training activities like GD, interviews from the third semester. The students are given special training based on their specialization during free hours and every day a student attend a minimum of three hours of training session daily. The different training programs include:

• Continuous Aptitudes Test Training from semester 1 to 4. Weekly 5 hours is scheduled for aptitude training and the evaluation of students are based on weekly aptitude test
• Presentation Skill Training: The students are required to present more than 20 presentations.
• Around 20 mock GDs are organized at the campus under expert guidance and feedback is given to students to improve and progress. weekly one GD is conducted for each student and will be evaluated by faculty members.
• Quiz programs, news reading, current affairs, and discussions are conducted frequently.
• The daily news analysis helps the students to get more awareness about the happenings in the world. and the students will be asked randomly to make news analyses on the news, and they are evaluated based on that.
• Communication training through various clubs like language club.
• Mock interview sessions are organized under expert for all the students which help them to get experience in attending the interview. the faculty members will also organize mock interviews to find out students who need special attention and training.
• The expert talks act as motivation to the students to get placed in reputed organizations. The expert talks from alumni and other industry veterans are contributing immensely to motivate the students to great extent.
• Peer to peer training like PREP.
• Industry Analysis is a significant training program under which students are divided into 24 groups consisting of 5 members. each team member will be allocated with industry and they are asked to make a presentation on the concerned industry.
