Dr. Shaan R.S is a seasoned academic and management professional with extensive teaching, research, and industry experience spanning nearly two decades. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Kerala, complemented by an MBA and the National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification in Management. Currently serving as Assistant Professor at Marian Institute of Management, Marian College Kuttikkanam Autonomous, specialising in Operations Management, Marketing Management, and Human Resource Management. Before this role, he held faculty positions at several reputed institutions, including Mohandas Institute of Management, CET School of Management (College of Engineering Trivandrum), and Rajadhani Business School. His industry experience includes managerial roles in the banking and oil & gas sectors across the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait, which further informs his practical approach to business education. A passionate educator and researcher, he continues to contribute meaningfully to academia through teaching, research, and active engagement in institutional development. Dr. Shaan’s research interests are rooted in sustainability, reverse logistics, green supply chain management, and the intersection of management education and social development. His scholarly contributions include several peer-reviewed journal publications in Scopus- and ABDC-indexed journals. His academic influence is further evident through regular conference presentations at prestigious institutions such as IIM Bangalore, Jain University, the University of Kerala, and IEEE forums, where he has shared insights on reverse logistics, sustainability, and green technologies
