Jayan KR is an Assistant Professor at the Marian Institute of Management, Kuttikkanam, specializing in Marketing and Human Resources. He brings a well-balanced blend of academic and industry experience, having previously worked as a faculty member both in India and abroad. He also served as the State Programme Manager at the State Poverty Eradication Mission, where he drove central and state government skilling initiatives. He is currently pursuing his PhD from Symbiosis International University, Pune.
K-DISC Initiative: Created content and coordinated training for interns selected by K-DISC (Kerala Government) under the ‘One Local Body One Idea’ project, an innovative program designed to permanently resolve recurring problems faced by the general public.
Collaborated with IIM faculty coordinators to help design content for MDPs at IIM Kozhikode and IIM Ahmedabad tailored for senior project functionaries of the State Poverty Eradication Mission (SPEM).
International Training: Served as a resource person for ‘Feed The Future’—an International Training Programme for Developing Countries aimed at African and Uzbekistan delegates hosted in Kerala.
Workshops: Acted as a resource person at a state-level workshop on the ‘Future of Skilling’ organized by the Kerala Academy of Skill Excellence (KASE).
National Training & Modules: Developed exposure visit modules and coordinated training programs for state-level skilling officials from Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu.
